As any BathCAD user will know, a picture really is worth a thousand words. Well-chosen and perfectly presented graphics bring your BathCAD design to life - and help you sell.
ArtiCAD offers an enormous and inspiring collection of graphics from which you can choose, regardless of whether you need generic items, manufacturer-specific products, files imported from a huge range of external sources or even one-off commissions, developed especially for you.
BathCAD’s generic graphics catalogue contains thousands of images in an easily-searchable format, allowing you to pick and choose the specific items you need for your design. And the majority of these items can be customised by you, saving you time and effort, and ensuring that the final design delivers exactly what you and your customers are looking for.
Working closely with leading national and international manufacturers to the bathroom market, through ArtiCAD's Supplier Partnership Programme, we have developed hundreds of supplier-specific catalogues. These provide a treasure trove for the designer who specifically wishes to use items from a named manufacturer. Furniture, worktops, sanitary ware, accessories, lighting, wall finishes, flooring and so much much more – all available at your fingertips.
BathCAD users are able to import graphics of their choice from a wide range of different external sources. Notable amongst these is support for direct 3D graphics model import from Trimble SketchUp. Wherever you source your graphics, they can then be customised within the BathiCAD software, drawing upon a huge number of additional design functions such as applying surface textures and finishes, and finishes including reflectance and 3D bump mapping to give the models – and your designs – increased realism and vibrant detailing.
Our expert team of designers is on hand to create an exclusive library of your graphics or to build one-off graphics for your special projects and to help you make the most of your most challenging commissions.

Selecting the correct processor
The more powerful your processor, the faster it will render the image. If you feel your renders are taking too long you will need to look at upgrading your processor. Some systems have a limited capacity for upgrading the processor. However in most cases you will need to upgrade your entire system to get access to a faster processor.
Desktop processors are more powerful than the equivalent laptop version (laptop processors are optimised to conserve battery life in preference to processing performance). If you do not need a portable system then you will get better value from a desktop than a laptop. You can get laptop systems that are almost as powerful but expect to pay a lot more.
The current batch of Intel processors are split into three ranges - i3 (bottom), i5 (middle) and i7 (top). There are many different versions of each range with varying performance. We recommend the i7 processor.
While cheaper processors options (e.g. AMD A4, A6 and A8 CPUs) are fine for simpler desktop applications such as web browsing or writing documents, you will notice a difference in performance with more intensive tasks such as rendering images.
Within each range there are lots of different models of CPU. This is denoted by a four-digit number (and maybe one or more letters).
i7 3250M - 2 cores @ 2.9 GHz
i7 5960X - 8 cores @ 3.0 GHz
Although both say i7 on them, there is a HUGE difference in performance. Performing an Internet search of the range and model number with the word “benchmark” will provide some useful comparisons.
