1909 Kitchens: Special Guidance

To make it easier for you to configure tall appliance housings in your designs, when using the 1909 Kitchens library, we have replicated the housing configurations specified in the 1909 catalogue.
ArtiCAD Version 21 build 23 or higher.
Selecting the range
Click ‘This Design – Door Type’ or the ‘Doors’ button at the top of the design window.
Click ‘Change Manufacture’ and select ‘PWS 1909’. Untick ‘Use linked material’. Click ‘Change Range..’ to select the range.
Click ‘This Design – Room Setting’
- Plinth height. Set to 100.
- Tall unit height. Select ‘Custom’. For Medium installation height, set to 2120. For Tall installation height, set to 2300.
- Wall unit height. Select ‘Custom’. For Medium installation height, set to 770. For Tall installation height, set to 950.
- Doors have frames. Untick this option as the framing is built into the doors.
For the whole design:
Click ‘This Design – Photo Realism Colours…’
Click into the ‘PWS1909’ folder.
Click the desired Material Selection file and click ‘Open’
For a selection of units
Highlight the unit(s).
Right click and click ‘Edit Materials…’
Follow steps 2 to 4 from ‘For the whole design’
Edit the unit
Change the category to ‘PWS1909’
Click on the door set you require and click ‘OK’
Select the ‘Tall Housing with 2 doors’
There are two Style buttons. The left hand button selects the base door set, the right hand button selects the wall door set.
Change the base and wall height to match the selected door set.
Change the appliance selection. The appliances are ordered lowest to highest.
