Croydon-based Garrett Kitchens is using the ArtiCAD software to design all its kitchen projects, for both trade and retail customers. In the last few weeks alone, this small independent kitchen retailer has produced some twenty-five bespoke designs using ArtiCAD-Pro.
The company specialises in hand-made kitchens, and is responsible for design, supply and installation.
Jon Thompson, the company’s Senior Contracts Manager already had considerable experience using a CAD package before joining Garrett, but this is the first time that he has used the ArtiCAD software. “It is very easy to use, the renders are excellent, and since I joined the company earlier this year, I have not found anything that the software cannot do. It has a great range of functionality.”
Jon attended an introductory training course at ArtiCAD’s headquarters in Watford, which he found very stimulating. He is also very impressed with the technical support which he has received when necessary.
Garrett is planning to install ArtiCAD’s new KBBConnect product very soon. This will provide comprehensive pricing from the company’s catalogue, completely integrated with the ArtiCAD-Pro design software. “The introduction of KBBConnect will probably save us a few hours every day. At the moment, we produce the design, and then have to go through everything again in order to prepare itemised pricing using our existing package. This will no longer be necessary once we have KBBConnect up and running.”
