Interior Designs NE changes CAD supplier after two decades
Interior Designs NE, an established fitted kitchen supplier, has purchased our software for use on all its designs.
Sunderland-based Interior Designs NE, a well-established fitted kitchen supplier, has recently purchased the ArtiCAD-Pro software for use on all its designs, replacing a system which they had used for the past twenty-seven years.
Janice McBeth, the company’s managing director, is the principal user of the new ArtiCAD software. “My son recommended ArtiCAD and we had realised that our old system had a number of limitations, including only being able to use generic images. We did look at an alternative but absolutely hated it! We’ve only had the ArtiCAD software about a month, but the features which really stand out for me are drag and drop, the easy selection of manufacturer specific doors (in our case we use Browns) and how straightforward it is to deal with a complex design in a space with many angles.
“The results are very realistic and I am enjoying using it. In the first few days, I banned myself from using our old system – just because of its familiarity – and to ensure that I really concentrated on ArtiCAD-Pro. I am very impressed with it.”
Janice has used some of the tutorials on the ArtiCAD web site and found these very helpful. She is also planning to seek assistance to improve her use of lighting and producing renders.
