Version 22 New Features
We aim to constantly enhance your ArtiCAD experience, making it easier for you to create stunning presentations that help you to sell. Our software is continuously developed to reflect the needs and desires of our thousands of loyal customers.
Interface & Navigation Enhancements
We have redesigned and modernised the main ArtiCAD system navigation buttons and have rationalised the order in which items for selection appear. You will need no additional training to grasp these improvements, which are designed to deliver an enhanced user experience.
Materials Management System
The way that ArtiCAD handles materials such as texture finishes, has been greatly enhanced. There is a far larger library of pre-defined high quality texture and colour finishes, for even more realistic HD renders – making it easier and faster to produce visually stunning client presentations. This new feature allows you to continue designing whilst images are rendering in the background. Using a camera list, multiple renders can be queued, prioritised, and paused – giving you complete control of the images that are rendering in the background.
Whether you queue and process your renders while you continue working on the system or if you set them to render overnight, the background rendering feature is sure to revolutionise the speed in which you produce designs and will help optimise productivity.
“Island or no island?”, “Grey or navy?”, “Bath or shower?”, “Full hanging or double hanging wardrobes?” – presenting different design options instantly has never been easier!
Items within designs can now be tagged using the new Version 22 tags feature. Tagging items lets you layer different design options allowing you to present alternative choices and pricing within just one design – all at the click of a button.
Tag groups can be added, edited and deleted, and all of them save within your plans – meaning that once you have set them for one design, you won’t need to do it again!
A new Labels feature transforms the way that annotations are presented within your designs. You can now add labels and arrows while working in plan mode and position them where desired in the design. Using arrows and lines to outline and highlight certain aspects of the plan, this new feature not only benefits designers using ArtiCAD but also fitters, plumbers, and installers.
Tags and Labels Together
The ability to tag labels and arrows means that annotations can be hidden, and multiple plan options can also be presented – whether that be the plan for your customer or your installations team.
Cabinet Fascia Configuration
The custom door arrangement module has been transformed with the addition of new features that allow you to create your own custom arrangements, edit existing ones as well as select the options you are familiar with. You can save your custom arrangements for future use. Using a very simple interface, you can configure your cabinet fascia’s very easily and accommodate appliances, as desired.
We have greatly improved the generic bathroom graphics, making it possible to alter the sizes of all key items, which can of course be saved as favourites – helping users to easily access them for use in future designs. This is part of an extensive staged improvement project for our bathroom system. The second stage will be the re-categorisation of the entire bathroom graphics library to make it easier and faster to select desired items.
ArtiQuote (Free pricing system)
ArtiQuote allows you to enter and configure your own pricing data easily, build your own pricing catalogues and import pricing spreadsheets* in order to produce quotations, orders and an optional profit report for each quote.
The ArtiQuote reports element, lets you build and customise report templates with some considerable flexibility. Reports can then be saved as HTML or as Microsoft Word documents, and/or transferred to Word for further editing.
ArtiQuote comes with full user instructions and we have training videos in place to help explain how to use it.
*Spreadsheets will need to reflect certain format requirements, as highlighted in the user instructions.
We’ve re-recorded all of the Level 1 and 2 training videos to reflect Version 22 and these are available in the Members Area.
We’re about to launch our new website Members Portal!
This has a fresh look and feel to it and is designed to give you a much better experience – we hope you’ll enjoy using it.
Shortly, you will be invited to register for Members Portal access. This new registration will allow you to manage your own passwords instead of having to contact us if you forget what it is. It also allows us to personalise our online contact with you and to provide you with a far better experience.
We’ve installed a new Helpdesk system (Zoho Desk) which is fully integrated with our extensive business process software – and our website. Once you re-register, you will be able to raise your own support tickets (without filling in any forms), view your ticket status and history and, once fully operational, you will be able to live chat with our technicians.
Please look out for our emails later this month asking you to register for Members Portal access.
Our superb tiling tool is ready to use but we’ve delayed launching it because we want to provide you with the option to select from extensive tile libraries.

ArtiVR Virtual Meetings
We’ve added an online ‘Virtual Meetings’ option within our stunning online Virtual Reality (VR) software, ArtiVR. Simply invite clients to ‘join you’ in the virtual design environment and walk and talk them through your designs in detail, as part of an ultra-personalised and ultra-impressive presentation experience. Watch out for our new videos and live working examples.
